Background:
The Unity Education Team is currently producing two professional-level Technical Artist certifications, one focused on Shading and one focused on Rigging & Animation.
We are looking for subject matter expertise from our industry partners to ensure we are creating the best exam to meet market requirements.

Workshop Dates:
Item Writing Workshop - May 8-12 - Unity HQ - San Francisco
Writing out exam item questions based on an established weighting of requirements.
Unity will cover travel and lodging expenses for participants.
Item Review Workshop - May 22-23 - Unity HQ - San Francisco
We will review the exam item questions and verify they are exam-ready.
Unity will cover travel and lodging expenses for participants.
You may also conference in during the review period to reduce travel needs.
Minimum Subject Matter Expert Requirements:
Here are the requirements we are looking for in our subject matter experts:
- 5+ years in your Technical Art field
- Professional-level experience with Unity 5+
- Experience shipping at least two game titles
- Experience in the full game lifecycle working from early concept through launch
- Understanding of the game development pipeline
