I posted a blog entry with a full/working example of using DotNet sockets in MaxScript to send data to an outside tool (Python in this case).
The example is a little wxPython UI that updates an object name list when the selection changes in 3ds Max.
I was unable to find a similar MXS+sockets example anywhere, and thought this might be useful to some.
Pretty cool - too bad your code blocks on the page are busted. Looks like its not handling comments well.
This is similar to something I was going to be doing soon anyway, so thanks!
The code blocks work fine in IE, but appear busted for that blog entry in Firefox. I’ll have a look at that, thanks.
