Anyone know the best way to alter the maya splash screen?

I’ve been trying to change it, but I can’t get it to work.

What is the best, easiest … or correct way to make a custom logo screen work?

It’s pretty straight forward. You can find the existing MayaStartupImage.png here:

C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2015\icons\MayaStartupImage.png

Swap out that image with your own file matching the name and extension.

If you oddly enough find yourself on the Student Version of Maya, I believe you can do the same for MayaEDUStartupImage.png.
