Is this how a TA portfolio looks like?

A job application form had a mandatory field for a portfolio so I made one:

I’m not sure what is expected so I’d appreciate some feedback on the
format/layout. My working theory was that a sparse text, high graphics
material would sit better with the less technical HR ppl.

They are looking for more of a display of your work. Being a technical artists it’s kind of difficult to show your work on an artistically way, I struggled with that a few months ago as i graduated having to have a printed portfolio. Feel free to take a look at what I came up with here. (pdf 22mb) They should be in order as to left and right pages.

You Should show that you put as much time into designing and setting up your portfolio as you did working on the projects being displayed in the portfolio. (Think of it as an awesome movie like the hobbit but the audio was recorded on a cell phone.) In other words everything should compliment everything as a whole. No weak links.

Thanks, loosening up the design might be a good idea indeed. I’m going to look up
some DTP tutorials.

I’ve updated the file:

I went with a faux magazine design, I hope it’s not confusing.
(I had fun with it and now I have more respect for the DTP wizards, they have a difficult job.)

That’s looking great!
