Hello,
I have a set of small circles (LED display lamps) and a control object (selected circle). I need to set the value of some custom attributes on small shapes depending on whether they are inside the control object. I assume I will read custom attributes in the render engine (Vray or Arnold) and adjust the brightness of lamps accordingly.
How can I build such a setup in Maya? In Houdiny I could use Attribute Wrangle to get distance to control object to define custom attribute value, but have no idea how to do it in Maya.
