Hi all,
I am tired of suffering.
Is there a way of getting the component editor in Maya to auto extend to the full length of the joint name?
Or is there just a better way to do precision weighting?
I have gone as far as I can with paint weights on this particular project.

either one should speed you up.
I wrote a tool in house that allows for adding, removing, and setting weights at specified increments. This gets us around ever needing to use the component editor.
