WIP my first demo reel

i been a member of this forum for a few months now and i am super appreciative of all the helpful individuals here on the board. i think its amazing to have such a place where solutions and techniques are shared between the top pros in the industry and students like myself who are still learning the ins and outs of the field.

i hope that my first offering in the form of a demo reel isnt too offending to the professionals on here and im only posting it because im determined to achieve a halfway decent reel and i would appreciate and be open to any and all criticism that helps me with that

thanks in advance

Here’s the few things that stuck out to me:

-The first turn around you have of the female character is a really simple pose. If you are going to show the character in poses, put them in an extreme pose to show how far you can push the rig. Also speed it up.
-While deforming the mesh, have wireframe on, always show wireframe.
-Take out the showing the proxy mesh.
-Show more range of motion.
-Zero out controls faster or have keys set.
-Is that IK/FK matching or just switching?
-Get rid of the animations,

I wish i could do IKFK matching!!
im getting close thanks to GDC master classes with Sylvian Cote.
i understand the philosophy, i just have to get it down and make it user friendly!

You can try downloading puppetshop and look at the ps_func.snapFK and ps_func.snapIK methods. It isn’t that difficult.
