I was just thinking about the new generation touchscreens.
Wouldn’t it be awesome to have a mousepad where you can do everything with your hand. So you don’t need a mouse anymore and you just have to draw or tick with you fingers.

What do you guys think about the future of navigation on a pc ?
I dunno, that is pretty well how a laptop touchpad works and they annoy the crap out of me. :D: I’m always accidently double tapping or dragging when I meant to do the other one …
One thing that it becomes very hard to do with just a touchpad is emulate the sharp, solid “tactile feedback” you get from a mouse button when you click it. If you click a mouse, you know it’s been clicked, whereas with a touchpad, sometimes the pressure can mean it feels like you should have clicked, but the hit doesn’t register.
Exactly like Adrian Walker said, really - they generally seem not as precise. Also the surface area of a finger is much wider than a pen, so a Wacom is more precise too in this case
