Job Description
Namaste Entertainment is looking for a Technical Artist for an initial contract of 3 months. Your job will be to work the programming team to deliver their vision. you will have to liaise with external contractors for animations and models; assess the quality, fix bugs and prepare them for us in-game. You might be required to work on some new animation as well.
You will work on an MMORPG and not a single player game, so a clear understanding of the medium would be necessary.
Initially for 3 months, there is an opportunity to become permanent and be promoted as Lead Technical Artist and oversee the animation department. As first hire you will have the freedom to choose your tools.
Due to visa constraints we can only consider applicants with a US or EU passport or a valid UK work visa.

Bachelor’s Degree (or above) in CS, Engineering, or Art and related fields or equivalent professional experience.

Expert knowledge of at least one major 3D package

Familiarity with Unity a plus

Scripting ability

Advanced Shader knowledge

Experience in procedural generation

Either experience as an animator or a modeler. Show us your strength and we are more than happy to recruit more people where needed to support your work. In the beginning it will be a bit of both.

Experience of working with real-time 3D environments (ie games) rather than pre-processed 3D (ie movies) preferred
