Technical Artist

Responsibilities:

[li]Technical Liaison for external development teams
[/li][li]Ability to create low- and high-polygon environment objects, characters, and other models based on art direction and gameplay requirements
[/li][li]Understands and maintains production pipeline and workflow
[/li][li]Helps determine new production pipelines when necessary
[/li][li]Document technical aspects of tools and production pipeline
[/li][li]Provide technical support for the art team
[/li][li]Develop art production tools in conjunction with programmers
[/li][/ul][ul]
[/ul]

Required Qualifications:

[ul]
[li]3 years experience within the gaming industry
[/li][li]Familiarity with scripting languages
[/li][li]Excellent knowledge of various game development tools (e.g. 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, custom tools, including rigging and weighting)
[/li][li]Ability to work independently and in team environment
[/li][li]Excellent work ethic with strong written and verbal communication skills
[/li][li]Ability to rig
[/li][/ul]

Desired Qualifications:

[li]Understanding of animation principles and 3D character animation
[/li][li]Strong desire to create exceptional games
[/li][li]Design and create particle effects
[/li][/ul]
