Who we’re looking for:
A battle tested Technical Artist with an entrepreneurial mindset and the fearlessness of a Honey Badger.
What you’ll do:
You’ll be responsible for responsible for creating texture maps from photographs, drawings and video reference to be applied to 3D geometry and models. You will be modeling and managing large sets of low-poly 3D models for deployment in realtime virtual environments. You are expected to expand your knowledge of modeling and and creating textures in Body Paint and Photoshop. You may use a variety of mediums to achieve artistic or decorative effects. Your design solutions must not only reflect a solid understanding of the client’s business motives, but also be aligned with strategy and technical specifications.
Our ever-expanding initiatives include:

[li]Create photorealistic textures from scratch and/or from existing material for mapping onto 3D geometry
[/li][li]Set up and manage UVs for complex models
[/li][li]Assist in asset database management
[/li][li]Work closely with the Interactive Development team
[/li][li]Facilitate an efficient workflow between Cinema4D and the Unity3D game engine for a high volume of assets
[/li][li]Occasional turd polishing
[/li][/ul]

Specific Skills

[li]College Degree or equivalent work experience in: Creating textures of products, environments and characters for use on 3D geometry and models
[/li][li]Minimum of 2+ years experience in related field Strong experience and knowledge of Maxon Cinema 4D, Body Paint, Photoshop, Illustrator and other related software
[/li][li]Proficient in texture mapping and low-poly modeling
[/li][li]Batch scripting experience in javascript, python, coffee and expresso a plus
[/li][li]Realtime engine knowledge or experience preferably Unity3D a plus
[/li][li]Must be able to work under tight deadlines
[/li][li]Ability to manage multiple projects at once with meticulous attention to detail
[/li][li]Excellent communication skills
[/li][li]Must have the ability to effectively work well with others
