I’m currently working on a tool that will allow you to browse any repository or compliant scripts, once we get our script linking working as I start to describe in this thread. The idea is that a user can browse for scripts from within max, and install/uninstall them automatically, without having to manually do anything but click a single checkbox. And the way the script integration system will work, whenever they open the browser they will get the most recent available scripts… it is one component of a multi-faceted approach to script sharing, exposure, and integration.

I’m pretty much blocked until we do some work on the database/protocol, which won’t happen for a week or two. The bulk of the work is already done- the rest will be expansion of functionality, UI work, and more features (I think).

Is anyone interested in helping me with some feature design/testing/feedback? What I have so far works and is really cool, I need some other eyes on it though.
