We are looking for a Sr Shader Artist to work with a well known AAA game developer in the San Francisco Bay Area (CA).

Responsibilities:
•Design, implement, and support high performance, multi-platform real time shader development
•Work closely with various teams to implement and tweak shader technology
•Evaluate, and enhance existing real time shader technology
•Work closely with engineers to ensure shaders are game ready, and implemented fully and correctly
•Meet or beat industry standards for real time shaders in next generation console development
Qualifications:
•An Art background, keen eye for photo realism, an excellent comprehension of lighting and color theory
•2+ years shader development experience
•Proven experience in developing multiple input shaders
•Expertise in shader languages such as Cgfx or HLSL
•Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
•Ability to accurately and realistically schedule tasks
•Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely fashion with a high degree of quality
•Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•A passion for games
