Snapy IK handle problem - 3ds Max

Hi folks

Quickly need some help on this never encountered problem before. I havent rigged in Max for a few years and now I need to and I cant get my head around whats going on with the IK handles. Any time I create IK handle on any set of 3,4,5 joints it behaves like a grid snap, but theres no snap on!

It happens in animation or just by dragging around seems like the IK is moving fine, but the joints are lagging behind! Anyone encountered this before? Its always smooth movement in Maya and I used to have smooth movement in Max before.

Ok apologies, it seems like tis related to scene size and joint size which is a bit silly, but looks like thats it.

It’s in part due to the scene scale, but the behaviour you’re seeing can be fixed without having to rebuild anything; simply select the IK Goal and click on the Motion panel and reduce your position and rotation threshold values (they’re both set to 0.1 by default) to around 0.01.
