Shadow rigging in Maya

In Maya 2008, is there a way to transform keys on my custom controllers to the joints where latter they can be safely removed and the remaining skinned mesh & rig will be the only two things ready to get exported?

I did try the bake simulation thing but it’s not working as expected :frowning:

Yes. what did not work about Bake Simulation?

You can also always write a tool that does that. :slight_smile: That’s what I do.
