Rockstar London are looking for a passionate Technical Artist to help develop intricate game worlds for current and next generation titles. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ games industry experience in a similar role. A strong working knowledge of 3dsMax and Maxscript is a prerequisite.

RESPONSIBILITIES

[li]Proactively use knowledge and experience to identify and solve problems before they affect the development team.
[/li][li]Implement new techniques that increase art quality and efficiency across disciplines.
[/li][li]Communicate solutions to art and programming teams, ability to collaborate effectively with other team disciplines.
[/li][li]Document and knowledge share these solutions.
[/li][li]Bring innovation and resolution to technical problems and challenges throughout production.
[/li][li]Can demonstrate creativity and technical ability within the constraints of console development.
[/li][li]Strong communication and organizational skills.
[/li][li]Effective time management skills to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
[/li][/ul]

QUALIFICATIONS
[ul]
[li]Expert knowledge of 3dsMax - maxscript programming is a prerequisite for the role (or SDK development)
[/li][li]Thorough understanding in developing pipelines and creating efficient user interfaces.
[/li][li]Familiarity working and developing in a multi-platform, multi-project environment.
[/li][li]Experience in other scripting and programming languages (Python, C#, WPF etc.) is a major plus.
[/li][li]Industry experience is a requirement, having shipped title(s) on XBOX or Playstation consoles, or PC.
[/li][li]2+ years of applicable professional experience as a technical artist or artist with knowledge of game engines and art pipelines.
