Rockstar New England is looking to hire a Technical Artist to help develop Rockstar’s next project. The ideal candidate will be a relentless problem solver, have at least 2 years in a similar role, and be able to work across multiple disciplines.
RESPONSIBILITIES

[li] Proactively identify and solve problems before they affect the development team.
[/li][li] Implement new techniques and tools that increase art quality and efficiency.
[/li][li] Communicate solutions to art, design, and programming teams – including documentation and training others
[/li][li] Work with multiple team disciplines on optimization tasks and help create the best processes for future development.
[/li][li] Can demonstrate creativity and technical ability within the constraints of console development.
[/li][li] Strong communication and organizational skills.
[/li][li] Effective time management skills to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
[/li][li] Maintain performance/memory budgets.
[/li][/ul]
REQUIREMENTS
[ul]
[li] Experience using 3dsMax as a technical artist.
[/li][li] Thorough understanding in developing pipelines and creating efficient user interfaces.
[/li][li] Familiarity working and developing in a multi-platform, multi-project environment.
[/li][li] Experience in other scripting and programming languages (Python, C#, WPF etc.) is a plus.
[/li][li] Industry experience is a requirement, preferring multiple shipped titles.
[/li][li] 2+ years of applicable professional experience as a technical artist with knowledge of engines and art pipelines.
[/li][li] Photography skills are a plus. A good eye for light and color.
