Rigging chocolate wrappers

Hi guys,
I had assignment on rigging Chocolate wrappers in maya. I have some problems in doing it.
First i saw this [B]Video[/B] for reference.
And I thought it was done by Blendshape, so i started with making blendshape and my result is here.

But i result was not so good .
So i again google and i found this video. I do no how they did it, but it was nice.

So i need help to do rigging the chocolate wrappers.

You may want to look into how people manage arm rolling it’s a good place to start and it’s more common, so you’re bound to find more info on that topic. Have a look here TD Matt: No-flip upper arm roll joints

As a side note I would rig it and only use Blend shapes as correctives.

this looks like you could do it by chaining two twist deformers for the ends and a lattice for the pinch.
