I don’t have any direct experience in posting a position to one, but I’m sure that dedicated job boards (e.g., gamasutra.com’s) are probably pretty effective. That said, I’d argue that skipping TAO.org when listing such positions would risk missing out on some extraordinary candidates (and not just TAs). The price is right, and as I said, the caliber of professional and non-professional talent that is involved in the site make such a posting a no-brainer in my opinion.
I can’t tell if mobikwik is an incredibly effective bot or a almost off-topic and terse person.
