Python qustion: any valid way to use the maxscript animation syntax in python please?

any valid way to use the maxscript animation syntax like this:
at time 12 do ($.pos.x = 10)
in python style please ?

I just can’t find any valid way to do that.

I use blur-dev python IDE,
