I think I’ll stick with 2.x for a good while yet.

Thanks for posting this. No pressing reason to upgrade to 3.0 for most of us, I think, but I tend to like most of the changes and I can definitely see why they needed a new version. They brought some stuff in line to make it more useful and pythonic (print, for example), while setting it up for the next decade (such as the int changes, and text vs. data). Good stuff.

Has anyone migrated over to 3.0 in production yet? I’d be interested in hearing the pros and cons.

Maybe this warrants its own thread, but I’m curious what types of things people are doing with Python to improve/help their pipelines specifically outside things that relate directly to Maya or any other app that may use Python exentsively; standalone type stuff…
