Point Cache Object with no Deformation (max)

I am trying to point cache my whole scene.
All this works fine but only with objects that are animated.

If an object is just placed in the scene it just stays in its original position.

And the point cache says : “the current file contains no deformatiosn, perhaps because it was recorded with no modifiers active.”

Any idea how I can make the pointcache record even if there is no deformation/animation on it?

Hi,

You can try to use the world space point cache (the one that has (WSM) next to it). But if the object is not deforming, point cache is really a waste of resources. You could just keep the animation or bake the transform animation on such objects.
