Ubisoft Singapore is looking for a talented Technical Artist, FX expert to push boundaries on the Assassin’s Creed content being built in Singapore. A sense or Realization, a good artistic eye and technical competencies are required.
Responsibilities:
[ul]In collaboration with the Art Director, tweak the various component of the engine ( post Fx, weather system ) to achieve the targeted look of the game.[/ul]
[ul]Modify existing shaders and supervise texture creation to accurately represent surfaces.[/ul]
[ul]Actively engage the different technical stakeholders to solve artistic problems.[/ul]
[ul]Help coordinate between art team and tech team[/ul]
[ul]Assist the team in learning new technologies and processes[/ul]
[ul]Push for visual accuracy and quality[/ul]
Qualifications:
[ul]Strong experience in lighting and shader creation[/ul]
[ul]good understanding of photography[/ul]
[ul]excellent problem solving[/ul]
[ul]autonomous[/ul]
[ul]Strong overall artistic ability (composition, colour, motion, etc.)[/ul]
[ul]Good knowledge and understanding of the video game development processes and techniques[/ul]
[ul]Strong understanding of rendering budgets and other technical issues related to performance in real-time engines[/ul]
[ul]Excellent team work, communication and tutoring skills[/ul]
[ul]Experience collaborating with graphic programmers and mentoring artists[/ul]
[ul]Strong overall knowledge of 3DS Max (modelling, texturing, lighting, rigging, animation[/ul]
[ul]Strong learning skills[/ul]
Bonus:

[ul]experience with high end rendering and modelling ( Zbrush )[/ul]
