Need Help with MotionBuilder2012! Weird moves

Hello, I’m new to MB and I was animating with MB2012. I realized some very weird moves of the leg happened when I tried to adjust just a tiny bit of the foot position at a particular keyframe. The whole leg was distorted and didn’t behave as I wanted it to. And this doesn’t just happen in this particular case, it happens all the time. What’s worse is that the other leg misbehaved too even if I didn’t do anything about it. Could someone help me out here? This problem has been baffling me ever since I started using MB. Thanks a bunch!

The other question is, what’s the ideal setup for reack K and reach T. I used to set them to full IK so they both get 100 for every joint, I found some jitters in the animation.

Would you happen to have an example of the behaviour?
I’m not too experienced with MB but it sounds like a gimbal lock. There should be an euler filter function somewhere to fix that.

Hi, I understand it might be degree of freedom thing, but I just don’t know how to fix it. It’s like the solver doesn’t know what to do and lost its mind and started twisting your character.
