My Rig be Explodin!

We are processing some mocap data and seem to have run in to a bit of a snaffu…

On one frame of this animation the entire rig seems to explode. The weird thing is that the keyframes dont show this sudden change in position, according to the curves, they are animating normally.

We have tried baking everything down to the base layer to the skeleton, deleting the key and shifting everything over… .which doesnt work

we have tried pasting a good pose on that one frame, which gets applied, and allows us to key it, but as soon as we hit play it vanishes again.

I tried pulling it in to MotionBuilder2011, with the same effect.

We are using MotionBuilder2009, and we have tried fixing it on multiple machines.

Has anyone seen this before? if so is there a way to fix it?

Are there any constraints on the rig, is the weight maybe keyframed on it. If you shift animation does the jump shift along? Any keys on the character settings? It can be many things, I’ve been fixing broken files/rigs for a few years, I could have a look, if you’d be able to strip the offending bits, you could PM me, if you wish me to have look.

It looks like there is a sub frame keyframe on the FK skeleton that is blowing things up…
