MotionBuilder HIK limits

Hi

Its been a long time since i have had to do any character rigging ( or Motionbuildering ) so Im stuck at controlling the rotation limits using HIK.
The story is an animator needs to create an animation of a character breaking another characters arm but the problem being that when using the HIK the arm in MB will not bend backwards.
Is it possible to set this limit in MB somewhere? I have tried the Degrees of Rotation and it does nothing when the HIK is on.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

No you have to turn off the rig in order to do this.
