I am building a simple mine cart rig for a game in 3ds max, and am having trouble figuring out how to switch the objects CoM or pivot point (for a sharp, two wheeled bank turn).
I have originally tried using IKs for each wheel and creating multiple orientation controllers, but the hierarchy is becoming “cyclical” and I am doubting its effectiveness.
I’m wondering if there is a useful technique for this situation… Any technique name that I can research/learn about. I have considered using wire parameters or reaction manager, but I still can’t figure out how to solve the rotation problem.
Ideally it would be nice to have spinner control of it, as is done in some foot rig rolls. The cart needs to be able to shift from center to each side and front and back wheels.
Most of what I have been able to find online has been for reactor rigs, and the rest has been MineCraft tutorials!:laugh:
