Maya 2015 SP5 Orient Constraint Problem/Bug

Hello,

I have an object in a rig which is orient constraint to one other object with an offset; when I scrub the timeline the orientation is incorrect but when I refresh the viewport in some way (such as changing an attribute or go to Modify > Evaluate Nodes > Evaluate All) the object goes to its correct orientation. The sudden change in orientation in the viewport is not represented by a sudden change in rotation values in the attribute editor (they remain the same).

The rig works when the scene file is opened in Maya 2014, Maya 2015 SP2 and SP6 and, to add more confusion, sporadically on other computers with Maya 2015 SP5. I’ve tried Changing the interpolation type and viewport renderer but that didn’t change anything, neither does installing a new graphics card driver.

Has anyone else had this problem before? Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks,
-Harry

I can’t help, but this seems like the kind of thing that you might want to send to Autodesk to repro since 2015 is under active support.
