In Maya after changing Reference namespace and refNode in the child nodes are still with old namespace

Can someone please help me with this issue ?

Have a look in the namespace editor and see what(if any) namespace nesting is going on.

I find it useful to use that editor to delete and control what the namespaces are doing especially after bringing a lot of scenes together during a rig build. The reference editor doesn’t give you as much namespace specific info IMO.

You can then script up solutions accordingly.
