Hey guys, I just had a general pipeline question. I see a lot of studios are really picking up using Substance Designer and Painter and I was curious if anyone could give me insight on how they are incorporating those tools into their pipeline? I don’t really mean how you are using the tools to create content but more of how are you using what they create in your engine? Are you reading the published sbsar files or outputting maps and then just importing the texture maps to the engine? I know a lot of the public engines like Unreal and Unity have Substance plugins, but have any of you had any experience using Substance with and in house or custom engine? I am very curious how that integration would work. If it would be possible / easy for an engine to add support for reading the sbsar files that are published from Substance Designer.
