Filament Games seeks a Game Producer to join our core team. Responsibilities include developing and executing a work plan for multiple small games simultaneously, ensuring that communication is flowing smoothly between team members, and identifying missing content and acquiring it (music, voice talent, writing).
Qualifications
Scrum and/or PMP Certification
Bachelor’s degree
One shipped game title as a producer
Excellent understanding of all aspects of game development
Attention to detail
Passion for gaming and creating fun, engaging experiences
Broad knowledge of game design and the gaming industry
Effective, efficient communicator both verbal and written
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate others
Ability to consider big-picture strategic issues
Results- and action-oriented while still maintaining high quality standards
Ability to adapt quickly to a rapidly changing, fast-paced creative environment
Plusses
Indie game production experience
Experience in other game development disciplines
Experience with Microsoft Project or another scheduling tool
Passion to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
Experience with Agile/scrum development process
Working knowledge of Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML5 and HTML
Experience managing multiple staggered production schedules
Experience with Subversion and/or other asset tracking and versioning tools
Strong skills in using project management software including Excel, Powerpoint, MS Project of equivalents
