Hello all,
My two friends and I purchased audio passes with our other friends in a group purchase and found out that we are unable to go, so we have three audio passes available for anyone who is desperate to go and has not purchased tickets. We managed to get a great deal on the audio passes as there was a misquote that the group sales manager was kind enough to honor. She has sold us the tickets for $140USD. They are valid tickets, and we have the emails from the GDC confirming the payment of each ticket. If you purchase the audio passes from the website, they’re about $600 each.
We’re selling the tickets for $140, which is what we paid. We’re not trying to scam anyone, we’re just really desperate and our frantic facebook posts haven’t exactly garnered any interest as people already have their passes or are unable to fly to SF last minute for the conference. The passes can be refunded for the pass price minus $150, so it’s a little ridiculous for us to even try to get refunds since the group sales manager has already been so kind to honour her price misquote. I’ve even turned to craigslist in my desperation to sell these.
I’m so sorry if this sounds like a scam. I’ll provide proof if necessary!
If interested, please PM me and I will message you back with a screen shot of the emails (names blocked out, of course). It’s easy to change the names via a form that we can fax in to them.
