GDC Roundtable Question

I knew I was going to GDC, but I didn’t know until today that I’d be going with a main conference pass, so now I’m scrambling to schedule my time.

Anyway, I see the roundtables are scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I haven’t attended a roundtable discussion like this before so I’m not entirely sure what to expect. They sound like they’ll be somewhat loose and an open discussion and therefore valuable to be present for all 3 sessions. They do, however, conflict with a couple other interesting talks. Can much or any overlap in topics be expected over the 3 sessions?

It really depends. Some years the topics have been repeated each day and some years we’ve moved forward each day. This year I’m trying to get a list of potential topics compiled before the show so we can try to stay away from some of the more basic questions like “What is tech art” that we’ve had asked year on year. There’s another topic in the forums here were people are posting topics they’d like to have at the roundtables.
