Foot Rig + orientation problem?

Hello,

I am watching the following foot tutorial to write a new foot rig :

The rig is working well, I like it.
But having a weird rotation problem from the foot bone. :x:

Below a picture you can understand what is happening.
And the matching Maya 2009 file.

I have no idea what is going on.
The problem seems to be the IK-chain that rotate the bone if it rotates itself… :?:

Well, I could choose another foot rig tutorial to write another script but really would like to understand where is the mess here O_o…

Does someone with a skilled eyes on rigging could give a look to the file?
Maybe something missing or made it in the wrong way…

I tried opening your .ma file but it isn’t a valid Maya file. However from what I can tell based on your post and the image you provided, this behavior is to be expected. I’m assuming that the orientation of your ankle joint is not the same your foot controller, so it would make sense that the values in each would be different. I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
