Who are Fatshark?
We are an independent Swedish game development studio located in Stockholm close to the Globe Arena. We are comprised of experienced and skilled developers and have been involved as subcontractors in a number of AAA titles for consoles and PC as well as developed our own games. We have lately focused on developing and releasing games on our own and together with publishers and we recently released Krater www.kratergame.com and are currently developing War of the Roses together with Paradox Interactive http://www.paradoxplaza.com/games/war-of-the-roses.
We’re looking to expand our team with people who have the drive to help us develop great video games and who feels confident that she/he is among the best in her/his field.
The positions require a love of games, strong work ethic and good communication skills. Candidates should have a prominent passion and ambition to push the quality of our games to the next level.
Our philosophy
Since we have a relatively small development staff, with firm deadlines and informal structure, each potential team member should be a capable self-starter and able to manage their time and tasks independently. The benefit of a small and independent team is that we can offer a collaborative environment where the whole team works together and all team members have their say within all areas of the game development.
Tech
We use a game engine called Bitsquid http://www.bitsquid.se/ that is currently being actively developed by our sister company with the same name. Bitsquid is being developed in close relationship with Fatshark and because of that giving feedback on features and tools is a big part of any Fatshark employees responsibilities.
Where?
All our positions require relocation to Stockholm Sweden.
Cheers
Mikael Hansson - Lead Artist/Animator @ Fatshark
