I recently got access to the GDCVault. I’m wondering what talks you guys would recommend as shouldn’t-be-missed. I’m mostly interested in tech art/VFX/graphics/pipeline subjects, but anything else is fair game as well.

  • Every talk from GDC 2011’s Technical Art Boot Camp
  • Ben Cloward’s SWOTR lip sync talk from 2010
  • Bronwen Grimes’ talk from 2010
  • Anything from Jason Parks, Seth Gibson, or Rob Galanakis
  • Chris Evan’s Tech Animation panel from '08 ('09?)

James Golding’s Building Blocks: Artitst Driven Procedural Buildings. Also +1 to anything from the boot camp, Rob Galanakis, Jason Parks, and Seth Gibson.
