Cost of a script?

A company has seen a script I made and would like to use it for one of there animations. I have never sold a script to anyone before so I need your guy’s help. How do I determine the price?

The scripts automates the process of creating an array of lights/objects that change color based off of a texture.

This was originally created to simulate the RGB pixels of a digital screen. It will just be modified to control another type of lit object rather than a pixel.

How many hours would it take someone to develop it? Multiply that by $20-$30 and see if that sounds reasonable. I don’t think there’s a good basis for this as it is rarely done, so just take whatever money you can get and be glad :slight_smile:
