When you don’t have a tablet, does it make sense to make corrective shapes by sculpting them? Are there other methods I could try instead? The closest I’ve tried is to use a temporary Membrane node in Maya on the corrective shape to automatically fix some skinning issues, but that only works in Maya…
best thing might be to use the soft selection mode, most 3d software packages have these
but seriously for sculpting, skinpainting and all those types of things even a cheap tablet will suffice, thrust and medion have some really really cheap models (cheap as in 8 euros/dollars)
