CCP is looking for a Technical Animator to bridge the gap between the Animation and Engineering groups. Using both in-house technology and existing middleware, the technical animator will help construct and refine the animation pipeline and provide tools to the animators to help speed up workflows and solve technical problems.
Major responsibilities include:
* Coding support of in-house animation pipeline.
* Work closely with animation programmers to support changes to animation rigs.
Required Experience/Skills:
* Experience with Maya, polygonal modeling, rendering and animation
* Experience working with animation middleware (MotionBuilder/Morpheme) a plus.
* Strong scripting skills (Mel, Python, Lua )
* Game modding or level design experience highly recommended
* Familiarity with modern animation techniques
* Precision and attention to detail in creating animation tools with an
* Must have worked on at least one AAA title.
