Blitz Games Studios, located in Midlands, UK, is looking for both Technical Artists and Technical Animators for the studio Art Research and Development Team. These are strategic roles, supporting both studio-wide technology development and the many and varied games in production. We are looking to hire at both Junior and Senior levels. At Junior level, skills and attitude is more important than experience.
For the Technical Artist role the focus is on New Tech and Development Pipelines. We are looking for artists who know their way around a development pipeline, are good with Mel and Python, understand shaders and like to analyse, mentor and communicate. A keen artistic eye is a huge plus too!
For the Technical Animator role the focus is entirely on Rigging and Animation Pipelines (other studios might use the term Rigger or Character TD for this role). We are looking for animators who know their way around an animation pipeline, are good with Mel and Python, and like to analyse, mentor and communicate. A keen artistic eye for deformation and movement is huge plus too!
