Our last TA acquisition worked so well we are looking for another Contract Technical Artist here at Bioware Austin to work on the Star Wars: The Old Republic TA team.

It would appear that the link is not quite live. So those that have PM’ed me asking if it was still open. Yes. :slight_smile: Here is a quick rundown of some of the experience and qualifications we are looking for.

Various degrees of education and experience will be considered provided the candidate’s application demonstrates the following requirements:

• 1+ years of experience as a technical artist.
• Good understanding of game engines, tools, pipelines and development processes.
• Good communication skills; ability and willingness to accept and follow direction, and to collaborate productively with others
• Intermediate level experience with 3D Studio Max and Maxscript is required.
• C# experience a definite plus
• DB, ORM experience a plus
• Working knowledge of Python, LUA, JavaScript, etc. is a plus
• Experience working on an MMO a plus. Experience working on a game mod using a premier engine would also be a preference.
• Possess strong and creative problem solving skills
• Capacity for learning new procedures and techniques.
