Animation Tools

Heya guys,
just wondering if some of you could have a play with my new animation toolset (Maya), and let me know of issues you have or improvements you can think of.

Hi Lee,

I like it, its simple to use and does what it says. There are a few things that i think could improve it further :

With regards to the Adjust Animation animation feature, if no range is selected, use the current frame and offset/shift/reverse everything after that frame by the given amount.

From a production point of view the selection sets logic is a little too simple for use ( at least in most cases i have experienced ). For scenes with only one copy of a rig/character it works fine, but if there are multiple versions of a character then the user is forced to duplicate their selection sets due to namespaces.
A way around this would be to list the selection sets available in the scene so they can choose which rig they’re currently focusing on. If no namespace filter is selected then you can fallback to the namespace stored in the selection set etc.

Apart from that, i like it and definitely see its usability.

Yeah shifting everything after current frame if no range is selected is a great idea, I should’ve seen that myself.

The selections sets point is something I didn’t even consider, but since you mentioned it, I cant believe it was overlooked, considering were using multiple rigs here.

They will be added in the next update.
