External Casual Game Developers Needed for Upcoming Adobe User Research Study—Sponsored by the Adobe Research Team

The Adobe Research Team is looking to talk to casual game developers (browser, computer, mobile, or game console) to better understand the game development process and the tools/technologies used. Your insights will help us improve our platform/tools and develop potential new solutions.

The study will be a two-hour one-on-one phone interview. As a token of appreciation, participants will receive a $150 American Express Gift Cheque.

Ok, maybe I should be grateful that after 15-20 years, Adobe is finally recognizing the games industry in some capacity… but COME ON! Casual game developers? CASUAL IS OVER.

Well, despite my initial incindiary response, I submitted an application to participate. Really, I suppose that the product I am currently working on (bar market coin op,) is somewhat casual in its nature.

I’ve been thinking about submitting one as well, but I don’t have a home phone or a mobile at the moment, because I’m travelling.

Ah well. Long live Adobe! The Adobe is- er, I mean, please fix the bugs and listen to us! :stuck_out_tongue:
