I believe you can subscribe too though I’m a bit late to the blogging party so I don’t really know if you need an account to do that or if it just notifies you at an email address.
Akk another blog about rigging, we really all just need to create an UBER blog shared among all TDS and post it all in one palce… but cool, looking it over… says the guy who has to much input all ready.

With reader.google.com you can organize all of the blogs you follow into categories so you can have all of your rigging blogs in one place.

I’m thinking about creating an aggregate blog for something like this.
Just wanted to say, if you have not check out his blog lately, there are some great tips and detailed work-lows for rigging topics that are not always covered or done well.
Excellent stuff Matt, thank you for sharing that, I know it will help many people.
I have been recommending it when I get the chance.
XSI community has xsi-blog.com which is great and has several authors contributing to it when they can, it would be great to have something like that set up for tech art!

Cool blog but i definitely echo that sentiment for the need of a unified blog. The main reason I haven’t really started tech art blogging myself is that I wouldn’t be saying anything different from most of the other rigging/techart blogs out there…
I actually got to your blog, Matt, from a post I saw from Brad.

So if there was a unified area for people to blog would you?
Would people be willing to either post to both their personal blog and a “community” blog or just to a community blog? Or would it be better to have an aggregate blog that would pull in content from authors that would appear as either full posts or excerpts of posts? And how would someone vet the process of someones blog (or an author for a community based blog) being added - what would constitute good content (eg, would it include beginner tips or just advanced tips - simple solutions or complex solutions)?

Def. Not that i don’t feel like i have cool stuff to contribute, it just doesn’t come up that often. If i were to start my own blog and not post stuff that other blogs post, i’d probably only post…once every quarter or so.
Is it possible to create an aggregate blog with the ability to post on there directly?
I think this would be the most flexible for everyone. Most people have to juggle work and family, so anything that adds significant amounts of time to support (e.g posting in two places) isn’t going to be sustainable in the long run.

No offense to Rob and his bathroom visits circa 2009, but I’m sure we’d all be glad to see more compelling content up there.[/QUOTE]
That’s good enough for me…i’ll put content here, probably starting with GDC observations.
Matt, this is Tyler who made those comments, I just wanted to say that even with the little bit of (now fixed) confusion, that blog post was a lifesaver when I was making my rig for thesis (my first complex rig ever). Super helpful blog, at least to us young up-and-comers (at least I hope I’m up and coming). thanks so much
