So I’m trying to write a simple shader for max and it doesn’t seem like hardware tessellation is supported? The Hull and Domain shaders seem correct but the mesh just disappears in the viewport when they are added to the technique.
The closest information I can find on this issue is a forum post on AREA from 2013 which doesn’t sound promising:
Has anyone gotten hardware tessellation working in 3DS Max before, or is it just not supported in the DirectX11 driver … ?
