Responsibilities:
- Design and implement internal and external pipelines requiring multi-discipline collaboration
- Collaborate with artists and engineers to design and create new art workflows and tools
- Help mentor and develop Jr. team members
- Help define budgets and audit game performance
- Assist artists to ensure that assets are authored correctly
- Support artists and troubleshoot pipeline issues as they arise
- Serves as a technical resource for all phases of production and other studio art needs
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in game development or feature film development
- Excellent knowledge of Unreal Engine 4 or 5
- Strong knowledge of 3D art production and current gen video game development processes and techniques.
- Strong knowledge of Maya, Substance, Photoshop, and Houdini
- Experience creating tools for artists
- Highly proficient with Python
- Intermediate knowledge C#, C++, or HLSL
- Familiarity with game performance evaluation tools
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
